A special one hour commercial free edition of NWA On Fire this week as we take the time and look back at the many changes that the year 2010 had brought us. Our panel this week: Tommy Savoldi, Brian Webster, Bob Conn and Rob Allison discuss the many different superstars that has come through and made an impact with NWA On Fire.
We focus on the 2010 Tag Team Championship tournament; but first we'll take you back to earlier in the year when the Latin Hit Squad defended the Tag Team Championships against former Champions in their own rights, the Samoan Warriors.
As the Samoan Warriors started the year as Champions, many teams have come and gone and they put the belts up against all comers. But in May of this year in Lisbon Falls, Maine a unique team of the Boston Bad Boy Jason Rumble, or should we now call him Bad Boy Jason and his long time friend and tag team partner, Darling Damon, the Crown Jewels.
The Crown Jewels came in and in their first night became Champions. Battling not only the Samoan Warriors, but the Dream Team as well.
As the Crown Jewels started their reigns, they battled everyone that came in their path and ended up successful until one fateful night in Springvale, Maine this past August the young lions of Julian Starr and Matt Taven did the unthinkable and pinned Darling Damon and Bad Boy Jason, to become the NEW NWA On Fire Tag Team Champions.
Fans, this was a tremendous match between four top stars of NWA On Fire.
Later that evening the Crown Jewels felt that they were robbed and demanded a rematch that night. This not only ended up being a mistake for the Crown Jewels, but for Matt Taven & Julian Starr as well. A little bit of contreversy took place during the pinfall and well, let the footage speak for itself.
Then we take a look at the Tag Team Championship Tournament that took place in Mexico, Maine in October this year. Many top superstars from around the world joined us in a quest to become the NWA On Fire Tag Team Champions. You had such great teams as High Voltage, the Dynasty, the Dream Team, and a contreversial tag team who won it all, the Masked Executioners or shall we say the Latin Hit Squad.
Folks we want to thank each and every one of you who made this year a successful one for everyone involved here at NWA On Fire, and with out you, our loyal fans, there is no US.
