http://www.dreadheadhq.com/locksculpta - As your dreadlocks lock it's normal to have some loose hair on the surface of the dreads. These loose hairs don't add to the strength of the dreadlocks and many people find them unsightly. This technique employs a dread safe crochet hook needle called the Lock Sculpta to pull the hair in - making the dread stronger and smoother. Enjoy!

  • when are u going to put up the dread vlog 3?? D=

  • @jrbandillneverswitch As soon as I'm "allowed to" =] Right now I'm trying to figure out how to disable thread safety on our server - I would much rather be working on DV3. Hopefully I'll be able to complete part one this summer and the rest will follow. It's something that needs to be done "right" so I'm trying to clear away other projects first and give it the energy it deserves =]

  • do you twist the tool while its in the dread?

  • @TheNerdSwagg I don't personally, but I know some people that do. I get the same result either way and I can go faster without spinning but it's not a problem to spin it.

  • this is what i have been doing a normal crochet hook, lol just buy a normal hook, its cheaper just saying

  • @unchiprince Yes after you've tried a cheap hook for a while reward yourself with one if these. You'll never pick up the old crafting hook again! I have around 40 crafting hooks that I used for testing - every type I could find - now they sit in a drawer. For a few bucks more you can have the best too for the job...the only tool made for the job...it seems like an easy decision, but I love my dreads, so I hookem up - besides, I've saved enough by not getting hair cuts to get 100 lock scuptas lol
