It's pretty obvious that the GOP LOVES corporate welfare. They want to continue to allow the 96% of Americans who make under 250,000 to be slaves to corporate America while the 4% of American "fat cats" live the lifestyle of the rich and famous. What would Jesus say, you "religious" Republicans?

Republicans: you won't be able to take money with you when you're sixfeet under! How hypocritical: so many Republicans claim to be "religious," yet the cardinal sin of all, greed, is part of their life.

Man I would love it if the tea baggers would blow up in the GOPs face, alas, they're too retarded to do it through enlightenment, so it has to happen by sheer luck.

Just gotta remember to not get your hopes up. When they proposed passing a clean version, with the tea baggers fucking around & a couple of dems not liking the deal, I actually thought it was Wall St.'s way of saying "OK you've played politics, we're not getting close to the deadline", but as always when I hope, I get fucked.

@StevenBee2. Yeah right, keep on dreaming. liberalism and conservatism is not an american invention. These notions have been around as long as man has. Liberals just hate to be called liberals because it has such a negative stigma. When I call a liberal a liberal I often get nuttty replies like this. There are those who believe in govt to solve their problems and those of us who are independent and want govt to get out of our way! You my friend clearly need govt to make your decisions for you.

As long as no laws are being broken corporations or individuals should have this freedom to do as they wish WITHOUT govt control. In your world govt is always good and knows best. That's why our ancestors left europe to form their own country! Govt regulations and controls cost trillions to companies and individuals.

@aSingleDallasGuy This has nothing to do with liberalism or conservatism it has to do with an unbalanced system. No nation in the world grants such overwhelming power to its corporate entities as yours. It's somewhat anecdotal, but both Germany and Canada are very business-friendly countries which promote corporate interests domestically and abroad, yet they do still have strong checks in place to prevent an unbalance from occurring, and both countries are weathering the global crash quite well

@StevenBee2. Anti corporations is the liberal montra. It's very easy to say but is never proven. This is the philosophy that govt knows best. In this country most americans reject this view based on our founding. Creating the most powerful country on earth (even today) kind of shows that less govt is more prosperous than more govt. You are not correct to say corps are less regulated today than in the past. The opposite is the truth. In fact this regulation is a large part of our economic woes.

@aSingleDallasGuy That elections play too important a part in the actions of your politicians is certainly a valid point... though speaking as an outside observer, the primary problem which seems to be causing America's woes, which is strongly regulated against in other nations and use to be in your own, is the immense amount of power corporate interests wield in your political system; particularly now, after the Citizens United case opened up unlimited secret spending on politicians.
