I sort of felt the opposite; this score (this song in particular) struck me as generic, repetitive, and very similar to a lot of the echoey, ambient-sounding themes of recent years. It reminds me of a watered-down Steve Jablonsky song. I enjoyed this movie; it was creative and well-paced. But something a little more distinguishing than the generic four-chord progression with reverberating light percussion would have been more memorable, imho.
