In the riggers world of Stage Technicians this IS a Truckers hitch.
My only criticism is he says 2 or 3 twists.Well my experience has proved for me that you must have 3 twists before pulling the slip knot or the rope will tighten up on itself. I AM CURIOUS WHAT YOUR VERSION IS.
