Galactus Wasn't a cloud. If you listen to the commentary for the film, the writers didn't want to reveal Galactus if he was only appearing for 5 minutes. A Silver Surfer movie is being planned and if he was shown the writers of the SS movie woudn't be able to envision Galactus in their own way. In my Opinion That Cloud is Galactus' means of travel and consumption. If you look close you can see some organic machinery in it

In the comics, Galactus is described as an entity which is perceived differently by each alien race. The form most have become familiar with is what the collective consciousness of humanity sees him as. So the giant cloud thing made sense in a way. The way it ended only made sense to me if that was one of Galactus machines, and not Galactus in the flesh so to speak. The Surfer VS Galactus? Squish goes the surfer.

Hey man, great review there. I have to say that I agree with your points about the file. All in all it was a pretty good movie, quite entertaining and all. The worst thing is having to put up with the pissy reviews about "Galactus the cloud" as Im sure are use to hearing by now. In my opinion if that's all there is complain about the film, thats not too bad. And besides in the comics he was able to take different forms, whos to say he wouldnt take a cloud form.

Yes, and as I said in the video, he's nowhere near as bad as online review have made out.
Just don't go in expecting to see Galactus as a man, expect more of a force of nature, and you should be impressed.
