Not only modest, but one of the nicest person I have ever meet in my life.

@lcoxe44 Coxe is very modest, even admitting that Kocur was much harder than he was and that he got "lucky" in knocking him down, most guys would be giving it the big one about how they put Kocur on his ass, what a great guy.

@downeyfan20: You are right ! He is a great guy. Very funny and down to earth. He loved to play hockey and was very thankful he got to do it. My whole family, including Craig were great hockey players who all should of made it to the NHL.

@rbmoon : he is a great guy. I love my cousin. I love watching this video because my cousin reminds me of our grandpa...they look and talk the same.... My couz is hilarious. A great hockey player and guy.

@downeyfan20 indeed

Coxe didn't win many but the guy was hella exciting. You always knew a Craig Coxe fight would be a swing out. NEVER boring. I have always said I would rather pay to see a Craig Coxe loss than watch a Mick Vukota win for free. Sounds like an honest guy too. Not many people would be honest enough to say they were lucky.

@downeyfan20 Agreed!

don't suppose you saw the kocur-playfair fight where playfair is out and joey jumps on and just lands another huge one to the face (or what was left of it ... coxe sure has that right, kocur's punches were killer, apparently...)

I met him at Home Depot in West Branch Mi. Real nice guy!!
hahahahaha, this is one of the greatest I've ever seen, being a Wings fan I love Joey, but this interview is outrageous...5 STARS!!!

I knew Coxe in 86 when he fought Probert in Vancouver, he was fearless AND a great guy. He roomed with one of the all time great brawlers Greg Agar. Those were the days my friend!
