    BEAUTIFULLY SAID. Perfect.

  • YOU WILL NEVER WIN THE WAR DREAM ON

  • dear everyone involved, please ignore the negative ramblings of people. the song is beautiful, you sing it so sweetly, no matter what anybody's political views are, everyone should wish that your husbands are home soon and safe. you should all be very proud of your selves. i wish you all well. oh and sam, if you should read this, your voice is so beautiful, xxx

  • I agree. As if the Afghans would have the means to enforce their lifestyle in the U.K. The only reason for terrorism is NATO murdering, exploiting and stealing from countries either having oil-reserves or living in an area of geograhical significance. Afghanistan has suffered British pressure on-and-off for nearly 200 years!

The majority of deaths in the Afghan war have been civillians. And those are our reports! I don't like them, but they don't deserve to be slaughtered and bullied

How do men and women like these involved in today's Middle East invasion have any bearing whatsoever on my freedom here in the UK? Also, I choose to speak my mind because I care not to live in fear of men and women who claim to have some form of authority over me. My independence is my strength, their loyalty to the flag is their weakness.

  • @pieface1726 said "The things they have to do may not be pretty, but it is firmly the lesser of two evils"

You're right, it's not always black and white. For instance, in the case of our Middle East invasion I would strongly argue that WE are the greater of two evils.

Every member of the UK's military can say "no" at any given time. I don't consider every soldier as evil, but I do consider them to be brainwashed and living in fear of what might happen if they think for themselves.

  • @GMPresents because of course, it really is that black and white isn't it?

if you see every soldier in this war as evil, then you are blind and unwilling to understand their motives, beliefs and ideals. Do not spread your opinion if you have not questioned it critically yourself. it is because of men and women like these that you are in a world that tolerates your freedom of speech, The things they have to do may not be pretty, but it is firmly the lesser of two evils.

  • @BizarreMuzicEnt Normal people, unlike yourself and many others who have posted here, put it at #1 in the UK. That is good. My comments are directed at the people who demean your nation's military forces and by extension their families and the people who support them. Read and try to comprehend the context.

  • @generalripper1964 said "If you don't like where your nation is sending your soldiers, vote the bums out"

Unfortunate, voting or protesting en-mass didn't work and our leaders (cough) carried out their own agenda rather than listen to the people. Our leaders escaped the leash long ago, so commenting on YouTube may be the best chance we've got to reach out to individuals who have the capacity to see reason.

  • @imagemaker1966 said "why cant anyone see the good in this track"

Because it attempts to gloss over some very disturbing facts concerning occupation, invasion, murder, torture, frightening nationalism, gang culture...the list goes on. British troops have done a terrible thing, and a glorified Christmas song will never change that or make people forget what has been done in our name, or with our taxes.
