Today there was another event in the 6th International Turkish Language Olympics. 19 young students competed in the 'singing category' hoping to be one of the 10 finalists. It was no easy task for the judges in determining the finalists who amazed audiences with quality performances performed in Turkish. //

The singing Final in the Turkish Language Olympics was held in Ankara's Anatolian Show Center following the semi-finals in the town of Kizilcahamam.

Among the judges were famous academians and artists in Turkiye

Some of the contestants touched the audience with their emotional pieces others excited the attendants with the lively songs.

Hatica Alizade who sang a traditional Black Sea region song received the most points from the judges as one of the 10 finalists.

Contestans from Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Leetonia, Cambodia, Tajikistan, Indonesia, Mongolia, Russian Federation, Albania and Yemen will compete for the grand final to become the medalists. The medalists will be voted through text messaging by Turkish citizens.

Huseyin Demirtas, an educational volunteer who passed away in Kazahistan was given the award of fidelity " His wife, Munevver Demirtas and her daughter accepted the award

Meanwhile, teachers who teach Turkish all around the world were given awards by the Secretary of General of the Turkish Organization.

  • Hi. My sister Farzana competed in the singing section. She represented Bangladesh. Do you have any vdo's that feature her? I am dying to see her performance.
