Here's my full review on the Manemaxx hair extension method. There aren't many reviews out there that aren't posted directly from the website so I thought I would vblog it :) If you guys have any questions at all, feel free to let me know and I'm more than happy to answer :)

Check out www.manemaxx.com for the method.

  • What happens if you heat the bond? Not intensionally but maybe with a flat iron or blowdrier.

  • @nmar936 If you unintentionally heat the bond too much it will get soft and squishy and it will be much easier to pull out of your hair. So I would highly recommend being careful with the heat otherwise you'll have to re-install the bond.

  • i'm interested in this system but i have to ask what kind of damage was done to your natural hair?

  • @cassiecaso As far as I could tell, my natural hair wasn't damaged at all by this system. As long as you follow the proper care methods and don't yank or pull unnecessarily on your hair, there shouldn't be any damage. Check out my channel for the updated review on ManeMaxx because this video sucks lol.

  • I was just wondering i really want to purchase this product but i realy like my hair full so do you think that i will need more then 6 oz of hair? also to i am a chef and i must wear my hair up for work so will i be able to wear my hair up with out the extentions being detected? that is my main concern i don want it to look like i have them !! and last how long did it take you the first time you put them in will it take me a full day? thank you for your time

  • @michellebkm

For my first install, it took me just about 8 or 9 hours, if you can do your install in two days, maybe over the weekend it would help with minimizing frustration!

  • Do you have to purchase their hair, or can I get my hair from my beauty supply store?

  • @darkempriss i took down my comment because i ended up agreeing with you. thank you for responding and also making informative vids...

  • @crazedcree I totally get what you mean about the tembond and having to buy a membership, but keep in mind that if all people only bought was the tembond...she wouldn't create much revenue ;) This totally sounds like I'm affiliated or something but I'm not, just being a small business owner myself I kinda get where she's coming from :)

Hi Michelle, I don't think that you'll need to order more than 6oz. 4 oz is standard for most people and is already quite full, 6 oz would probably the max amount you could fit for your head unless you end up putting the bonds really high above your crown. You can definately wear your hair up without detection, you just have to be careful of placement of the bonds, you'll need to leave enough natural hair at the bottom and sides of your head so they cover the bonds
