@lukebccb That's completely untrue and one of the most ridiculously absurd comments I've ever heard. ABT, NYCB (not a fan whatsoever myself,) and SFB are easily the top three companies in the states. There's been many critics who've actually said SFB has risen to the very top. (Personally, I would rather dream of going to SFB than ABT or NYCB if I wanted to be in the states.) Get your facts straight before you go about trying to be "the bringer of truth".

@chocolate0cheesecake I also agree with you completely. Those are great companies among others, unfortunately the choreography tends to stay in the safe zone for all of them.

@lukebccb that is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. NYCB and ABT are two of the biggest companies in the country, but they are not the only ones that matter. SFB is considered one of the top companies along with Houston Ballet, PNB, Miami City Ballet, and possibly some others. Don't say sorry, as if you're the bearer of upsetting news. Just because you don't give a fuck doesn't mean other's don't either.

Sorry to be the bringer of truth but San Francisco ballet will never count in the dance scene simply because it doesn't matter..... there are only two companies that count in the national critics circle and that's City Ballet and American Ballet....... San Francisco ballet may be told they somehow "matter" but in the end no one in the critics circle really gives a fuck about San Francisco ballet.
Sorry for the truth.
