I can relate. Even from a young age, I was intrigued with space. I remember my first "dream job" was an astronaut. Right now I ambivalent about my future career.

I disagree. Every scientist, every true scientist, knows for a fact that what they are learning today has a very high chance of changing within the next few years. That's why we like it and that's why we do what we do. The constant change, the new ideas the fact that every few years we have to alter our thinking about a particular subject or concept is exciting to us. I wouldn't worry about people with the least flexible minds, they won't be in positions of power because they cannot adapt.

This is a wonderful man. I don't live far from where he was raised, relatively speaking, and whether or not everything he did was correct, I'm more interested in Biology than beforehand.

e.o believes in the collusion of science and religion, which I completely disagree with, so in terms of their religious views im on dawkins side, though I don't believe his views 100% either

I don't care if Dawkins is a professor at Oxford, or how amazing his theories are or how good his credentials are, when it comes to beliefs on religion he is completely irrational and ignorant. He thinks of himself as being better than others because of these beliefs. And that is coming from someone who doesn't have a religion...
