By Jean-Luc Godard.

Including the famous quote by Andre Bazin which is actually a misquote of Michel Mourlet.

Contempt in English.

  • One of the best intros of all time. Godard always trying to do something different. I remember watching it for the first time and wondering what is this? A documentary? Gotta love the pause before he says...and Fritz Lang...Threw me off completely. The soundtrack is otherwordly; and the scene when they are watching the dailies of the Greek Gods will blow your mind.

  • un des plus beau travelling du cinéma, avec ceux de: "La soif du mal" de Orson Welles "Le locataire" Norman Polanski.

    Monsieur Jean-Luc Godard, mille mercis.
