Garaufis is a bigoted azzclown.....he calls the FDNY a "bastion of white male privilege" when men and woman are hired by a merit exam while judges like him are really members of a "white male club" who get their position by kissing ass...

Good luck , i got in off 6019 and consider myself very lucky. Keep fighting , keep training hopefully something can happen in your favor. It's amazing how 1 group of people can't hurt everyone even themselves.they are many great minorities still on the list and most were great in my class. Best of luck keep fighting keep ur heads up it will all be worth it when u get there . Best job in the world

One thing I will say if this academy does go in the canidates will have a brotherhood like none other you can see the pain , despair, and determination in our eyes!!!

the guy at the 3 minute mark is DEAD RIGHT! people need to own up to their own shortfalls. if you didn't get a good grade on the test, study hard and go back at it the next time around. why does everybody else have to pay? i scored high on this exam and now i have to suffer.

this type of b.s. is counter productive and only adds more fuel to the "two classes of people" fire.

this is exactly what's wrong with this country. no more common sense!
