Tamil Protest London April 2009

Tamils have been staging protests in London to bring the worlds attention to their genocide in Sri Lanka. They are not getting any coverage in the national press even though there have been over 200,000 people marching through the capital, people jumping off Westminster Bridge and have a Brother on hunger strike.
Since Briton stopped supplying Sri Lanka government with weapons the Chinese have stepped in and increased their arsenal considerably- hence the increased slaughter of the Tamil Nation. China is increasingly helping countries with bad Human rights records.

They staged a protest in Canada as well...blocked a major highway early last year. People were super pissed!!! And these protests don't accomplish jack shit anyway

Bunch of loosers. These people have no idea of whats going on and have moved for better living conditions to UK. there are lots of tamils who live happily in sri lanka along with muslims and singhalese. terrorrisam should be wiped out from the whole world to make it a better place.

in the 2000s, many countries deemed the LTTE to be a terrorist organization

tamils responded with happiness since the diaspora will NO LONGER BE TERRORISED by those who come with THREATS asking for money

now that the war is over, maybe they will wake up and ask for forgiveness for desecrating the flag and country of THEIR ANCESTORS!
