Hadiths.

Al-Bukhaari (5931) and Muslim (2125) narrated that Abd-Allaah ibn Masood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: May Allaah curse the women who do tattoos and those who have them done, those who have their eyebrows plucked, and those who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and change the creation of Allaah. Then Abd-Allaah said: Why should I not curse those whom the Messenger of Allaah [an error occurred while processing this directive] (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed.

Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said: "Any woman who puts on perfume then goes and passes by some men to let them find her scent is a type of adulteress." [Musnad Ahmad, Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Abi Daw?nd Sunan al-Nasa'i with a sound chain of transmission]

Quran verse nearest to high heels (with noise)
"............ And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed. (24:31)

  • 1. "...they should not display their beauty except what must appear ordinarily there of" -Make up does not fall under this category. It is something, an adornment, which is added to beautify ones self. It does not appear "ordinarily" on the face.

    2. There is a HUGE difference between simple black kohl lining the eyes and the sparkley, brightly coloured eye shadows and lipsticks that muslim women are seen wearing these days.

Please don't mislead our muslim sisters.

    May Allah guide us. Ameen

  • @servantforAllah Please do listen to my audio carefully .I very well know the difference between kohl and dramatic eye make-up. I understand the decency needed in applying make-up and i will surely make some tutorials on it. Please listen carefully before commenting May Allah guide us. Salaam.

  • People do the same thing in Christianity (Its not in the Bible therefore I can do it). But that is ridiculous & dangerous thinking. If the purpose of covering yourself is to be modest, makeup is most definitely not modest, that is common sense. It does not have to be in writing.

  • lol people will look at you in a sexual way whether you wear make up or not or whether you wear a niqab or not! if you do not agree to me, then explain how women wearing niqab get raped, how women who are 70 years old get raped, how litlle 3/4 year old girls get raped??? If we are talking about temptation or sexual looks, PLEASE! DO NOT BLAME WOMEN!! No matter how modest you think you dress, men will always look. BECAUSE THE WOMEN ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE ALWAYS BEEN BLAMED.

  • @mahjabeenadamI agree with everything u said, the very last bit in'caps'could be a lil debatable tho.Yes in like some Arab countries they may be blamed nd that is so digustingly wrong!it depends on th state u r living in.In Islam no way does it say if a women is raped,it is her own fault? but yes! to prevent or exposing urself to less risk, you should cover up modestly. It is without doubt men stil look whether you have hijab on or not bcoz a mans biggest weakness is women, have this

  • @MrJason2342 nun's are God's wives...so of course they wouldn't beautify themselves. Celibacy is haram, but nuns do it so should muslimahs be celibate too?

  • "And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent"

"Adorn not yourselves with the adornment of the Time of Ignorance"

now sister, what is the definition of adornment?

a decoration of color or interest that is added to relieve plainness eg. makeup.

but to gain a different definition of the Quaran for ones own self benefit is a different story.

  • @youheard03 no being beautiful or how you dress has nothing to do with it. i don't think people rape because they think you are beautiful. you either misunderstood or i expressed myself in a wrong way.

  • @mahjabeenadam do you think people rape because they find you beautiful? rape, has NOTHING to do with sexual attraction it is an act of violence and a tool of control.

  • Assalam o alykom sister! The point is: why do you use make up? Is it to beautify yourself? If so, what is your target with that? The other thing is: how can you pray with make up? Do you wash your face off 5 times a day and then you go back and put make up again? In my understanding, Islam is a good part about intentions! But I don't criticize anybody, since I use make up myself at times... I like your videos though...

  • assalamu aleykum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu !! just a question in your opinion is make up haram or not?

  • Not ONE qualified `Aalim has allowed make up.

  • @UrHillarious Dude! chill man! i know i know! ive been told im going straigh to hell. i know the drill. lolllll
