"Just for Kids" combines many common mental exercises for preschoolers into a single app, and will be available on the Android and Apple App Stores by November 20, 2011:

Many other companies try to split these "mini-apps" into separate purchases on the app store, but this one generously combines them all into one. You get 7 fun and interesting exercises, including:

- Letters: This is a very simple flashcard-oriented letter recognition program, with audio. This is meant for the earliest learners who will need the audio to go along with the letters. The letters auto-advance every few seconds, but you can speed that along with the "Next" button. Choose between lowercase and uppercase.

- Numbers: This is similar to the Letters exercise. It's a very simple flashcard-oriented number recognition program. Also included are "which is larger" and "which is smaller" for more advanced kids (3 - 4 years), and a simple counting program whereby kids are asked to count the objects on the screen.

- Math: Teaches math the visual way, by displaying the first operand as a picture, then the second operand as a second picture, so kids visually see how addition works. This is the only app available that uses this method. Both addition and subtraction are included. Appropriate for kids 3 - 5.

- FlashCards: Two mini-apps are here, the first being a simple display of pictures with the word and audio to accompany it. The second is more of a game "What is it?", whereby kids see a picture and then tap on the word that the picture represents.

- Shapes: A simple game whereby users are asked to tap the shape described by the audio.

- "What is next?" is a logical reasoning game for preschoolers. Kids are presented with a sequence of objects, and asked to tap on the next item that would logically come in the sequence.

- Flags: For the more advanced kids (5 years and older), who want to learn the flags and countries of the world, or for adults who want to brush up on this subject!
