Papua New Guinea Brethren Documentary

PSALMS 53:2
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Bro. Kilisi Sapom and his fellow villagers in Guabin, a portion of Siar in Madang, Papua New Guinea had long been searching for the truth. Many of them had grown up and build their families within their original faith Lutheranism. However, there had been something in their hearts that was looking for something, the truth. Truth to his faithfulness to those who seek Him, God gave them dreams and visions as prelude to the most important chapter of their lives. Their discovery of the truth of the Lord through our leaders, Bro Eli Soriano and Bro.Daniel Razon in a way that none of them ever imagine the small Born-Again denomination was able to hear Christ's undefile Gospel. The good news was able to get through to their Lutheran opponents too. Upon hearing the teachings of our Congregation, the Lutheran's eyes was opened by the Lord making way for one of the greatest miracles ever witnessed in Siar, the reconciliation of the Born-Again Guabin faction and Siar's Lutheran majority after more than a decade of religious strife. On June 1, 2008, 100 souls pioneered the membership of the Church of God in the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. At present, Indoctrination is on going, not only in Guabin but also in the village of Nirao. Three areas are requesting for Bible Studies. Mair, Karkar Island and Rai Coast. A fourth request is from the Good Shepherd School also within town. Hundreds of people have also benefited from Bible Expositions cd's that were given away by our brethren. Despite the distance from their countries to the Philippines and to the place of Bro Eli, our brethren in PNG were able to participate not only in our Thanksgiving but also in Church wide activities such as the International Youth Convention and the Lord's Supper. The locale of Madang also conducts weekly Sports Activities, Ministerial Classes are held three times weekly for those who aspire to become workers and help our preachers propagate the Gospel in their own country. By God's help and mercy, our Papua New Guinea brethren are actively performing their duties in various Church Group such as the Music Ministry, Teatro Kristiano, Quick
Action Team, Medical Team, KKTK and KNC. These groups are regularly involved in Bible Studies, Indoctrination Sessions and other activities within Madang. A year has passed, from the bottom of their hearts, our brothers and sisters in Papua New Guinea are extremely
grateful to the Father Almighty for giving His work of salvation to their nation and for sending his faithful preacher Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon.
