It's actually a paddle holster for my XD-9. The .22 will sit in it, but that's about all.

Yes sir, that is great shooting. I am trying to make a decision between the Ruger 22/45 and a few others. Did you do a search of other candidates or just go with the Ruger? Experience is the teacher, however some advice from others who have left their footprints in the track would be greatly appeciated. James, I researched the Walther P22, as well as the Sig Misquito, Browning Buckmark, and Beretta Neos.
The P22 kept jamming on me, the Sig didn't feel comfortable, and the Neos didn't appeal to me. I chose the Ruger over Browning based upon various performance reviews. Mine was on sale for $389, and I have no complaints at all. Hope this helps.
