Imagine a world where robots stood on desktops. Where a giant hand could reach out and press the start button on the back of the robot! Where a Robot would then perform its programmed animation! This is the world of "My first Bioloid Animation: Dramatic Bow"! (This film has not been rated.)
Seriously though, it might not seem like much, but this took a good bit of work to accomplish. Just getting the bot's center of gravity right in each frame so he wouldn't topple over to his doom, making sure his arms didn't get caught up on his knees, and finally getting some sort of graceful motion out of the available 7 poses ... It ended up taking a couple hours!
Oh yah, one other thing that took forever was coming up with a set of stable poses that didn't make the robot stand up facing a different direction than he started in. When I first started, because of the shifting center of gravity, he would get shifted around until by the time he stood up, he was facing a new direction. I had to really work on his foot spread and twisting to counteract those forces.
