These F7 units are the new BLI BlueLine models, and they're very beautiful! The only problem I've had with BlueLine sound is that when running multiple models, the sound can be a bit weird to control.
Nonetheless, here's the consist:

(Blueline) EMD F7B #38A (dummy)
(Blueline) EMD F7B #38B

  • This model has only this type of horn? What motor decoder you use in this Blue Line?

  • im a newbie to sooooo...... is model trains good for a ten year old i have some experience with trains i live in indiana

  • how do you get the horn? or does it come with it? cause we are getting the set called bachmann 24008 explorer train set does the train come with a horn or now?

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • @Rachmaninov08: JUST to straighten things out here, BLI's were not made by Walther's, the were knocked off by Broadway Limited. They are currently offered through MTH. Walther's has their own Proto 2000 F units that, well, aren't quite "their own" also. Both of these as well as others were literally optically scanned directly off the original Highliners F units. Trust me on this one guys, I do know.

  • What kind of horn do you use?

  • Yes, it looks like the LEGO I built several years ago.

  • @CMRR401 SOME GERMAN MANUFACTURERS F DIE CAST TRAINS SRE NICE TOO LIKE FLEISCHMAN AND MARKLIN OR TRIX OR ARNOLD.

  • @drumkid330 @DeanC993 - Wish I lived where you do. Here in Oz you're flat out getting a halfway decent loco for under $100.

  • Congratulations. Fantastic. *
