The saddest thing about VM's cancellation is not only what a good show it was in general, but how great of a role model Veronica Mars herself was to a young female audience. If I had an adolescent daughter I'd have a really tough time trying to find her positive female-driven shows meant for a YA audience. It'd just have to be VM and Buffy reruns.
