@mattsuzo You are right. Thanks for correcting me, Still though, it's african music in an American Accent, so while it may have been invented by Ghanians, Americans perfected it and the British did so as well.

you only have to hear the music to realise that it was not an American 'invention' but a distinctly African one. When they came to the states as slaves they carried on the tradition but in a new tongue :)

I respectfully disagree with that (or at least the way it is so absolute); we (the world) have the black Africans to thank for jazz, blues and the origin of popular music. Aside from academic studies that chart the blue print of jazz and blues back to the music of Ghana (that has been passed along aurally for thousands of years),

Where do I start? :) Shakespeare, Keats, The Bronte sisters, Jane Austin, Dickens, Benjamin Britten, Purcell, Vaughan Williams, The Beatles, Walton, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Sabbath, The Who, Radiohead, Floyd, Queen, James Bond, Monty Python, even bloody Harry Potter - and here we are, all discussing the video in English. yes England rocks!!!!
