This is just right for Halloween!
I haven't watched much of the new modern-day electric co, but it doesnt compare or as entertaining to me as the original.
June Angela appears to be the only short circus member from all 4 lineups who has the most fun on camera & performing! She is so talented, great dancer, & total '70's kid w/her outfits & long straight hair w/bangs! No wonder she was on for the entire 6 seasons!

So what's the story with these b&w kinescopes? For backwater PBS stations that didn't have videotape machines, maybe?

I don't know for sure, but my theory is that they were made for distribution to schools in rural areas out of range of any PBS station.

I never saw this clip as a child when it aired but if "The Blob" creeped me out, this one would have me hiding under the bed petrified!!! The black and white makes it more creepy (good thing). It is one clip of June Angela (Julie) I never got to see!!!

The song's a lot catchier then Jelly Belly, and that girl on the left (second block up) is a way better dancer then the others. The ending is a bit pervy with Dracula trying to close his cape on the kids.
