If you so called "good friends" of his can come up with $10,000 then the judge will release him from jail, & then hmmm... the $10,000 will go to his children. He should have thought about what his parental obligations would be before he passed his seeds of love on to his then-wife.

It isn't that simple. First, how are you obligated to give your children anything, do they have a contract with you clearly defining their responsibilities and your responsibilities? I think not. Therefor his children have no right to any money that he hasn't specifically contracted for.

His wife should have thought about her children before throwing him out of the house as she apperently did so.

Males are treated unfairly in the eyes of the court system and its a damn shame.

He should have thought of that before he decided to NOT pay the $124 some-odd thousand dollars he owes in child support! Let him come up with $10,000 and maybe the Judge will let him go. It's as simple as that.

And how exactly will his children benefit from him being in jail? I agree that he should pay child support, but I don't see how jail helps the situation?
