A talk by John Foster on what the government of Canada should be doing instead of the narrow neo-liberal approach it is taking with regard to the hemisphere and indeed toward Canadas peoples. John Foster is a researcher with the North-South Institute. He was in Ottawa on March 25, 2009 to participate in a Policy Roundtable titled "What Role for Canada in the Americas? Meeting the Challenge of Human Rights, Democratic Development and Economic Justice in a Time of Global Crisis". The roundtable was organized by CCIC's Americas Policy Group.
