of course we all believe in one senence (there is no god but Allah and his prophet is Muhammad)

we don't differe in the basic things in our religion but in small things

shia go o hussainiya in the 10th and 9th of Muharram while sinna fast on these two days

the small things make up life... theyre inportant... we cant afford to mess up on the small things! Islam has to be perfect!

and sunnis fast (which is allowed), shiites hit themselves (which is forbidden in Islam)..

remember u cant blame urselves for what happened to someone else... everyone is responsible for their own life...

i learned something as i lived in a society of different ppl .. i learned NOT to enter a meaningless argument about beliefs with other ppl .. i only explain my belief to them if they ask, for knowlege not to start an argument

and i'm sunniya by the and im not defending shi'a nor sinna .. im defending Islam.. the religion that is getting torn by the irresponsible actions of some ppl of these two groups

MissIraq ur 100% there is only One ISLAM....the prophet(p) said in a clear hadith all other sects will go to hell...the Muslims will be 73 sects and only one will go to paradise...but electrigal is right that we shouldnt bring fitnah but as the same time we shouldnt lie to ourselves...History is always their and we cant say wow in Kuwait they live in peace cuz kuwait is a sunni country and Allah knows how it wud be if it was the other way around

well sis I luv that u are trying to have Muslims unite but you dont know the shias beleifs. We differ with shia in HUGEEEEEEE things...

the major thing is in the Imamah. they Beleive The Imams are infallible and know All things.

the Imamah is A pillar of faith for them. and we Sunni Muslims are kuffar if we dont accept the Imamah.

also is calling Omar(R) and Aisha(R) kuffar a small thing, is cursing the mother of the beleovers giving her the worst of names a small thing...I dont think so
