Felix Mendelssohn - Rondo Capriccioso in E Minor, Op. 14

So I wanted to open the program with something that would immediately get the audience's attention, and I chose this. Since this is the beginning of my show, I'm nervous at this point and there are mistakes, most notably at the beginning of the fast section at 3:26. Still, it's not bad.

Here is the bio:

Kieran Ridge is an economics major in the Carroll School of Management (yes, the business school). He is also a music minor. He began piano lessons at the age of 7 with Rosemary Mitcheson, his church organist, and continued to study with her until high school. He briefly studied with Dr. Paul Verona at Brooklyn College while in high school, and played piano in his high school jazz band, which performed in Hershey Park, PA, Washington DC, and Japan. In college, he began studying piano with Prof. Sandra Hebert of the Boston College Music Department. Kieran was also involved with the BC Bands program for his first three years of college, playing the bassoon, tenor saxophone, and trombone, but gave these instruments up so he could completely dedicate himself to solo piano.
Kieran would first like to thank God for giving him the gift of music and the work ethic necessary to practice piano day after day. Secondly, he thanks his parents for continuously supporting him through everything, and for not hesitating to pay for his piano lessons over all these years. Thirdly, he thanks his piano teacher, Sandra Hebert, for helping him drastically improve throughout college. Lastly, he would like to thank all of his family and friends who have come to see him today, because the support he has received really makes the endless hours of practicing worth it.
