Tandem jump for Haiti by Harrison

This is my tandem jump for the victims of the Haiti earthquake to date we have raised over £2,000. Thank you to everyone for your donations and endless support.

In response to the terrible disaster in Haiti it is hardly surprising that many of our pupils have wondered how we can respond to such an awful tragedy of nature. Obviously, we all need to pray for all the tragic people involved. However, these poor people are also in urgent need of our financial assistance.

One of our pupils, Harrison Nall-Smith, has already decided to undertake a parachute jump. Harrison is a regular flyer of microlites and, therefore, we all know that he is willing to take risks, which is a polite way of saying that he is rather insane, but we still love him.

It has been proposed that Harrisons tandem jump should be sponsored and that all sponsorship money collected should be sent to support the ongoing needs of Haiti.

Pupils and staff are being encouraged to donate by sponsoring Harrisons parachute jump. However, there may be some parents who would like to fill our sponsorship forms by gaining the support of other family members, friends and work colleagues. Should you require a sponsorship form or, better still, forms, please ask your child to collect one from either the Upper Site or Lower Site offices.
