Mahatir is a small minded person who believed Malay people could not succeed unless the government gave them huge advantages and discriminated against minorities. Very sad when a Malay leader thinks so little of his own people. And by now, everyone knows the government controlled the courts and trumped up the charges against Anwar. To see Mahatir defend the Malaysian courts is laughable.

The Ringgit could have stayed on par with the SGD. They had the Interchangability Agreement with Brunei & Singapore where the value of the ringgit, SGD & Brunei dollar would stay the same. The government somehow pulled out of the agreement in 1973. Mahathir was only Education Minister back then! So how can he be considered a failure when he had nothing to do with that? Go check your facts before speaking!

the interviewer must show respect to Tun Mahathir. He should had listened what Tun Mahathir want to say and ask after Tun had finished. This simple ethics, even small child know it. what a rude interviewer.
