    It helps to pay attention; he corrected his statement with,"...have your hips no lower than your knees."

    Therefore the extract from his recommendation would be to adjust seat height so that knees/hips are aligned and thighs are parallel to the ground.

  • the second bass drum is what we call a "woofer".its drumheads vibrate from the sound that the main bass drum produces and this gives a fatter,boomier and bigger sound!you can try with a floor tom....lay a blanket or something in front on your bass drum and lay the floor tom and bring it as close to the bass drum as possible...it can even touch the drumhead...for a 20" bass drum use a 16" floor tom.good luck!:)
