@DASCO2136 Some had S5Ts and some had S3Ls. 6936 Currently has an S3L.

Given the noses that the 6900s had, would it be safe to say that they were the first 'wide cab' units in America?

Wow these baby's are big! They look almost twice the length of the SD40-2's they are consisted with, though I know they are 98' 5" to the SD40-2's 68' 10", they look much bigger!

1:27 #6922 is in Bailey Yard on display. 6936 behind it belongs to Steam Shop

To basically answer your question the first two DDA40Xs have Leslie Supertyfon model S5TRRO while the third one had an S3LR horn.
