Let's talk about how to get rid of your embarrassing facial hair forever!! I am an esthetician and I realized that many women have a problem with unwanted facial hair as well as ingrown hair. A common cause for this is polycystic ovarian syndrome. Facial waxing, threading, and tweezing are common methods to remove unwanted facial hair but my two favorite options are laser hair removal and vaniqa. Special shout out to makeupbyleinabaaaby. She inspired me to share my knowledge with you.

  • I'm a teen and you are like my YouTube big sister! Thanks so much--I really needed this!! :)

  • @jahleiahful Awww... sweetheart thank you!!! You brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. I love it!!! Thank you. XOXO

  • I av facial hair like my mom and when i tweeze them i get ingrown hair which eventual turns in spots. Is vaniqua a prescribe cream if not where can i purchase it? i also use st. ives for a few years now but not regularly. So i started using more now and lemon juice as well. Now my face looks really fresh.

  • @kimoni6 Yes, Vaniqa is a prescription cream. It works, but once you stop using it the hair returns. You are right on with the lemon juice. My girlfriend's face was so radiant and bright, and she told me that she rubbed lemons on her face every night!!

  • I am at my wits ends with my chin and jaw ad neck hairs!! thanks for the vid, I tried laser hair removal and got terrible burns even though i did my research and my doc said it was the correct laser for people of color...I did nto know cysts could cause the hair growth could hormones help to correct this? i will also look into the Vaniqa, thanks for all the info...BTW what do you use to exfoliate, body and facial?

  • @sexysamantha420 Trust me I know how you're feeling. Actually, I'm currently using St. Ives facial scrub from the drugstore, but I suggest you look for one that works for you. Vaniqa is VERY effective but once you stop using it the hair will return. Yes, google polycystic ovarian syndrome and facial hair growth. Good luck and keep me posted.

  • @HotChixRock do you mean she cuts the lemon in half and then rub it on her face? every night day?

  • Sally Hansen facial hair remover works pretty well if that helps anyone. I just wanna get rid of all the dark spots I have now :(

  • Laser removal doesn't work. Do your research - the MTF transwomen remove their beards with electrolysis, and they eliminate their full male beards. The laser is useless.

  • Also, over the years from the harsh waxing @ various salons & Nail Shops, I've developed dark spots under my chin. I've also developed marks on both my cheeks that weren't there before I started going to the Nail Shops for the waxing (Waxing my cheeks was unnecessary! It wasn't a problem area, but the lady @ shop caught me off guard when she put the wax on & quickly pulled off, which caused problems later). So, to correct the damaging dark spots, I've been using 100% Pure African Shea Butter.

  • So, here's what I've been doing over the years to ward off embarassing moments... I've waxed, threaded, and tweezed. I've even tried Nair Liquid Hair Remover (which is the worst! I DO NOT recommend Nair facial hair remover to anyone!) So, what I found that works best for me is tweezing as well as Nair Naturally Smooth Warm Wax. It's a Water rinsable Pure Sugar Wax with Peach & Melon Extracts. This wax works pretty good as touch-ups, AFTER I've tweezed. It catches little hairs I've left behind.

  • Hello. I just found this video today. It was very informative. Although, I am aware of POS, I do not have this syndrome. I do not have any cysts. Unfortunately, it's hereditary for me. My mom and a few other relatives have this same problem.

  • Hi Hotchixrock, I really appreciate your informative video. Can you please share the two types of home lasers that are FDA approved

  • you have the same voice as adrienne bailon :)

  • vaniqua works but, also makes you lose you hair on your head!!

  • when can u stop using vaniqa?
