  • is alpine good with sound volume?

  • @Daydragon1234 ... they're not bad. i finally tuned my 4-channel amp the way it's supposed to be. i've been robbing my speakers of power for years. the 12" type-r can get pretty loud, but i'm sure the ported box helps with that. it hits harder than my two subs in this video. buuuuut, i've only been getting alpine so i can't give a good comparison to other brands, and none of my other friends are into audio. sucks

  • How is that soundquest cap workin for ya? I just bought one for my system and was wondering if it has helped yours at all.

  • @MrThollo ... with one 2 Farad, my headlights still dimmed when i cranked it up. my neighbor sold me another one for 20 bucks, and when i added that, i haven't noticed much dim at all. that's the only brand i've tried though. other companies may make a better quality capacitor. i've had a few comments saying that i won't need a cap if i do the big three.

  • YET U STILL RECORD FROM A CALCULATOR?

  • @NumaNuma8248 ... old video man. used my new camera for the video of my newer setup. it's on my channel. calculator.. that's funny..

  • @thaguru2 alright cool tyvm. :) i might get alpine or kenwood. but i'd have to agree with you. my friends arn't into it either. my 2-3 cousins are but they work. so barley have time to ask them.

  • @Syrius187 ... the only thing i've done is used peel and seal on the rear panel (where the rear speakers are) to help keep that panel from vibrating against the metal of the car... tried the same stuff on the trunk, but it looks shitty. OH! got dynamat on the license plate, and added two more screws (4 total). that worked miracles... my whole setup is different now though. got video of my new setup on my channel. i still like my old one better though :-/

  • @imsofly114 ... thanks :-) i don't have those subwoofers anymore though..

  • @MetallicaCub3 ... thanks. hahah! it was the only song with decent bass that i had in my car at the time ..
