I walked into the boys locker room and looked for Nick. No one was naked or showering, people were just talking. I found Nick and walked up to him.
"Hi Nick,"
"Hey," he hugged me.
"I just wanted to say, great game. You're an amazing player."
"Thanks baby."
"Let's talk out in the hall." I took his hand and pulled him into the empty hall. "Now I can congradulate you correctly." I put my hands on his shoulders and kissed him.
Nick kissed me back. "Why couldn't you congradulate me in there?" he kissed me again.
"Uh...because it's more romantic this way." I wrapped my arms around his neck and continued to kiss him. "Congrats."
"Thank you."
Date: 3:06 pm, August 26th, Thursday [no school]
Location: Amanda's car.
Amanda pulled into my driveway the next day and I grabbed my bag.
"Call me kay? So we can make plans to see a movie next week."
I got out of the car and closed the door, but the window was rolled down. "Can do. See you, Manda."
"Later, Demz." Amanda said just before driving away.
I went into the house and closed the door behind me. I saw a note on the coffee table and picked it up. It was from Aggie.
"Took Hayley w/ me 2 my moms. Will be back 2mrw"
I put the note down and called Amanda.
"Hey Demi," she answered.
"Hey! So maybe we could go at 5 on Saturday next week?"
"Totally. We should see my Sister's Keeper."
"Yeah! I hear it's really---"
I was silenced by someones hand over my mouth. I screamed.
