OU Drumline Cadence

I read your comment and watched a video of you guys. Not bad, but keep in mind you play with 4 snares (7 less than OU). Also, I'm not sure how cymbal visuals = outplay the OU drumline. Its cool, but I wouldn't judge a drumline by how innovative their cymbal visuals are. If they are that important though, you should check the OU tenor visuals. They are pretty sick. I'm not saying who is better, I'm just saying that I didn't think your critique was very well thought out.

you do know that i said their line sucks...meaning as a whole, right?? you can have accomplished players on a shitty line, happens every day
-
@blooberflat22 you do know that 3 players from UCO teach at Drum corps right?
-
i was so there!!!!! im jus off cam!!
-
uco fuckin sucks....so does ou....but ou is better then some uco bullshit, seriously
-
What is the the name of this cadence
please dont take this as false cockiness or anything. yall are big and you have a tight sound sure enough. but the UCO drumline can outplay you. youre cymbals have next to no visuals while UCO's has them all over. and your bass line has five players (one less than UCO)and isnt anywhere near as technical.
step it up fella's.

Thanks for your comments, but with only 4 snares on your line, I don't think there's really any comparison between the two lines. Come out to one of our drumline shows before a home game next season, listen to and watch 20 minutes of percussion (battery and front ensemble) and I think you'll see what I mean. I'm sure that hundreds of other drumline fans who come to our drumline show every single home gameday will agree with me. Boomer Sooner!

Wow, what is that like a 12 man snare line?
Sounds pretty good for that many snares.
What's the deal with the slanted snares?
Is that just for looks or what?

Eleven snares and five tenors. My son tells me that "back in the day" (Civil War or even earlier), snare drums were carried on a sling and held at a slant. I guess it's sort of a traditional position. Thanks for your comments! Boomer Sooner!
