  • This makes me want to cry. If my Viola EVER does that, I'll be inconsolable until its fixed

  • @polytrumpet94 that's because they're not true rockers!

  • @ImaginaryVoncroy I'm not sure what "case" you think I was trying to make. I was just responding to someone specific who said that the violin and viola have the same tuning and were effectively the same instrument. I'm well aware that most violists were once violinists.

  • @raz1024 Of course they're different instruments, nobody is saying they're the same, but it's much easier for a violinist to learn viola than any other instrument because of the technique which tends to be somewhat "similar". It's no surprise than many famous violists were once violinists first. I believe you don't really have a case here...

  • He was pretty good before the strings broke

  • @polytrumpet94 I'm not totally shure, but i believe this is a viola concert, so, if isn't exists a solo viola, there is no concert.

sorry by the grammar xD español rules xDDDD

  • @polytrumpet94 I won't expect a band person like you to understand

  • ouch. that poor viola.

  • @polytrumpet94 That does not apply to this situation at all. When, in the middle of a leading phrase, the soloists instrument completely breaks, the show can not "go on" without some form of stoppage. He did finish the piece, though, by borrowing a viola from the section behind him.

  • @SethBlizzard Yeah, it's not like a roadie is going to come running out with his $10,000 back-up viola and get him up and running mid-song....turning the page to right section in the sheet music...
