Vidal VS Sassoon Clipper Replacing the rechargable batteries

This VS Sassoon Clipper is only a year old and the batteries have gone already. I couldn't find the receipt as i remember it was at least a 2 year guarantee. (probably not on the batteries anyway) so I took it apart to see what batteries were inside, I put in two new AAA 1.2v 700 mAh rechargeable batteries (they were 800 mAh but could not get them) The tags that were spot welded peeled off easy enough and i soldered them to the new batteries. charged it today and bobs your uncle.

hey the same thing has happen to my i-clip u can charge it for say 6 hours and when you use it

it only works for maybe 1min to 30 secs and shuts off and i have had it for less then a year and have lost the docket for it
