@dieKoninginderNacht Thank you. I do not desire that anyone go to hell and have never told anyone I think they are going to hell. You are absolutely right.

@almagore1 I don't want to start an argument (especially between believers) but I do want to note that the Pharisees were sinners but they were different. They were religious leaders who were bound in legalism. They were the ones to point out Israel's Messiah but their "holier than thou" attitude led the people in the wrong way. That is different than someone who is lost in a more worldly sense. It was a rebuke to people who should have known better, the "deacons" of the ancient world. ;)

@almagore1 Your comment about hell, I now see, can be taken two ways. Because it is text it looks like you are saying to him, "I hope (you) don't go to hell, but I think so". I took it like that. However, I see now that it could be said, "I hope (those scientists) don't go to hell but I think so." If you wrote it to mean the latter, I apologize. It simply is really old- and not good!- to see people who claim to know Jesus scream at people (in a negative way) that they are going to hell.

@dieKoninginderNacht When you say that Jesus never shouted at sinners, was it also a special case when in Matthew 23:27 Jesus said,"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whited sepulchers which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but are within full of dead men's bones, and all uncleanness. I don't think He whispered this. In a Gospel I remember Jesus saying to His disciples, "How long must I endure you." I suspect His voice was raised then.

@dieKoninginderNacht When did I ever say that, "I hope you don't go to Hell, but I think you will?" If I did, you are right, that would be terrible. In the above comment I made in reference to LankyHD saying there was no Hell.I said "there is a Hell and I hope you don't go there."" That is much different than the comment you attributed to me. @LankyyHD (continued)... There is something greater in life. Parties, entertainment, friends and goals are fun and pleasurable but... there is never any total satisfaction. You are always hungering for something more. Even in church, there's the need for something more. Then God shows up and interrupts the party. You realize that everything is a shadow. Nothing compares to God. When He interrupts your life, it'll be the greatest day you ever lived and you'll never want the past again. I promise.

@LankyyHD I'm 19 and age is irrelevant. I know what scientists today believe. But that's just it, they have their beliefs and told you what they accept. Several hundred years ago, it was accepted by the scientific world that the earth was the center of the galaxy. No matter what it is that people say is the truth, YOU have to find out what the truth is. You won't "believe" blindly, you will KNOW He is real. If you seriously ask for Him to show you the truth, He will. ...(continued)
