Lets not kid ourselves, as a believer of alien life, and intelligent alien life at that... Most UFO sightings are nothing more than military toys and the like.

Most people delude themselfs into thinking we're still at the stage where the stealth is one of our better crafts, even though it's time old.

I'd say 99.8% of UFO sightings are military projects. Look how the phone, computer, car developed in the last decades. Then ask yourself why publically atleast, the plane hasn't ;)

You're probably right. But i certainly know the capabilities of the military, government and the like.

Which leads logic to tell me these crafts are government. And i speak as someone who has seen one first hand.

I'm not trying to slander the believe in alien life or intelligent life, i believe in it myself. But the truth is there is no evidence at all to suggest there's aliens visiting Earth.

It's an illogical conclusion.

I think there is plenty of evidence to suggest that the phenomena exists, in the end i think it comes down to a question of :

"Am i convinced by the evidence presented or not?"

I'm just saying lets look at this realistically. The likelyhood is the vast majority of 'UFOs' are simply military toys that aren't yet public.

In the same way back in the day before the Stealth was public, many reported it as an alien craft. And still do to this day! And that's like 40 years back atleast

I agree, the vast majority of sightings are secret military projects, but the small percentage of unexplained Phenomena are the ones which keep us all interested!

That said,i think you're spot on to highlight the problems of disinformation and misidentification, these things blight the efforts of serious investigators trying to find the real truth.

i met nick pope not long ago at a ufo conference here in liverpool along with richard . Hoagland and ian crane, i have to say nick is a tosser , ever since that bullshit video of the m5 ufo and i quote nic in the sun "Former Ministry of Defence UFO expert Nick Pope told The Sun: ‘This is one of the best videos I’ve seen.", clearly a man with an agenda to push his books, why didnt he just say " crappest fake ive ever seen" hes supposed to be an expert but hes just an ex beaurocratic tosser

@ShankillRoadRIRA UFO sightings have been reported long before 1945. I have seen one at very close range and it was a luminous amber coloured sphere which could not in my opinion be one of ours. I have no memory of going to bed that night or of getting up the next day. I was very freaked out and called the RAAF base to find out what it was but I was brushed aside by them. Several years later I asked for a copy of my report and I was told that is classified information.
