Hello, subscribers. You remember that goal I set back in November to weigh UNDER 220lbs by the end of the year? Well that ain't gonna happen. I'm still going to aim for it, but I ate a hell of a lot of cake over the last 3-4 days and I have NOT exercised. This is a total breakdown in mental discipline that could cost me in the end.

HOWEVER, I am not giving this up! I want to use the last four days of 2009 (December 28-31) to counterbalance the damage I've done to my diet. I want to try to see how much weight I can lose in a healthy way in these days. If I do this right, I will have A REALLY BIG BOOST going into 2010 and the weight loss goals I have set for myself.

My diet over the next 4-7 days will consist of fish, spinach, fresh fruit, almonds and water. I am going to keep you posted over these days to let you know if I would recommend this for others, given the amount of exercise I plan on doing.

  • kitty...again we are mirroring each other..i just came back from florida today visiting family and i ate ALOT of cake over the week too and didnt excercize one bit!!..lol....i called my trainer when I got off the plane and gettin right back in the gym this evening...thanks for keeping it real and good luck on the next 4 days...

  • Girl I ate ALL kinds. German Chocolate Cake. Pound Cake. Store bought sheet cake. Red Velvet cake. Carrot Cake. JESUS! Just looking at that makes me realize just how much cake I ate.

    It was all delicious. lol.

    I had a lot of salt too, so I know half of what I gained is water retention. But hey, they cake was worth it almost.

  • You are looking great kittyboo.... Can I make a suggestion? Try not to lose the fullness in your face too much. I personally like your cheeks like they are... lol. When I lose weight, I have to supplement w/ protein so my face doesn't get too skinny and I start looking "crackish". .. Just my $.02 Keep going & I bet you still make your goal this yr. You'd be surprised. a cheat "day" sometimes jumpstarts u again.

  • Aww thanks. My face has gotten smaller from when I started, but I still want my face to get less chubby around the chin area. And I think it will. But I think I'll always have chubby cheeks so don't worry...lol. I've always admired Janet Jackson's cheeks, so if I'm left with something like that, I'll be happy! I know what you mean about the crackish look. Don't want a saggy, sunken-in face. I'm using oils(jojoba/EVOO) and shea butter mix to keep my skin supple and tight. Let's hope it works!

  • don't weigh yourself everyday. weight tends to fluctuate up and down on a daily basis and that can be very discouraging when you notice a gain in lbs. weighing yourself once a week or once every 2 weeks is the best way to see your progress without getting discouraged.

  • LOL, I feel ye, those few extra pounds I lost... well I bet I'm right back where I started^^ cake ftw! ^^ dammit, guess I can't bail on ye now eh^^ well girl, if ye're in I'm in! I'm visiting my hometown tomorrow (8hrs drive from here) but I'll be back home the 2nd and I'll see if I can put together a video then. Should have made one right now mainly because that would stop me from backin down^^ but the 2nd will have to do^^ Mail me some suggestions on how we should do this=D
