At the beginning of this year, democracy returned to Bangladesh. After almost two years under a caretaker Government the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned to power. But the problems facing Bangladesh are enormous: its a country of 160 million, corruption is endemic, extremist violence is common and much of the land will flood if and when global warming causes sea levels to rise. Earlier, Sir David spoke to Bangladeshs new foreign minister, Dr Dipu Moni and asked her first about the battle against corruption.
