CIAO BALOTELLI92...non ho capito bene la domanda...se ti riferisci all'artiere che teneva il cavallo dalle scuderie poi lo portava al tondino...NON so chi poteva essere..mentre l'allenatore era Camici, poi il fantino era John Reid...che ho avuto il piacere d'incontrare l'anno dopo (era con la moglie) in un ristorante a York..e gli ho fatto i complimenti..

Mtoto was given so much to do by his jockey no horse could have made up that ground but he came close, it reminded me of Dancing Braves Derby defeat and Hawkwings 2000 guineas defeat

There are a couple of other (fair fight) races between Mtoto & Tonybin & guess what Mtoto wins hands down

1) Mtoto won double the amount of races that Tonybin did 2) Over his career Mtoto won double the prize money

3) He was widely acknowledged in 1988 as Europes premier race horse

4) Mtoto won several of europes most prestigeous races.

Fully agree with you 21shergar & clearly HBStarlet knows nothing about horse racing

Mtoto was the class horse of the field. I never get tired out watching his turbo chargers kick in

He should have won this hands down but unfortunately due to some terrible riding he got caught in traffic & left his run some 500 yards too late. Complete amateur riding & I remember the trainer being high critical of his jockey afterwards. Was Mr Bean was riding him that day?
