Crap drums and what mics?
-
Whats awesome about the drummer for the legendary "Teaser" from Oklahoma City, is that he has immaculate timing has not been matched since the 80's. As a matter of fact there is yet to be a Metronome to keep up with his timing. Freak of nature? yes. Genius? Possibly...because from this video you begin to understand what it truly means to suck ass. and that it is YOU who sucks and need to be more like this man..playing drums for Teaser. -PS dont take this seriously.

@DethMetalNinja1 the only groupie probably.
This is the sad truth to what music has become, auto tune nig shit instead of watching real live players.
-
I'll bet he banged a groupe that night! Lol
-
@GlamRockChild actually, they were all decent musicians and really nice guys. but victims of the times! hahah. I actually played that night, too, opened for these cats. We were terrible
-
@GlamRockChild this is the typical 80's live in a bar in OKC in 1987 sound. I know because I was there. This is very typical for that time and situation, mainly due to a shitty PA, a shitty sound guy and crappy drums.
-
there's nothing to prove....this sound is just bad and anything is better that this
-
Prove it!!
-
well, all i can say is that my drums sound much better
-
This is how the drums sound WITHOUT any decent micking or processing. If you mick em up, and record properly they will sound more processed and add that typical gated reverb to the snare and toms.
MY drums sounds like this without micking up, but when I have recorded properly they sound more like the heavy 80s sound that rules
-
i'm sure this is not typical 80's sound...
-
But that's the typical 80s sound you know.
Myself I have very down tuned and damped drums because I hate that light uptuned sound that has been the standard since the 90s until now
notice the three kick drums.
