  • @dorisdayno1 I forgot to respond to your other excellent point, "Many people sing this song so does that make loads of people racist?" Yes.

  • @dorisdayno1 actually the song is pretty racist, it's saying that anyone can be an indian if they have all that stuff they're naming in the song. Also look how dumb they make natives seem. you're just too ignorant to see it.

  • Once again, let's make something out of nothing. we're getting good at that here on Planet Earth.

  • wrong on soooo many levels.....but thanks for posting

  • I finally caught Annie Get Your Gun on TV a few days ago just when this song was on. I felt so uncomfortable watching it.

  • It is not only RACIST...It's typical stereotypical behaviour presented as "Indian"...but culled from the "Hollywood Indian" bullshite!

  • :¬)

  • @lmrickford this is not rasist you sing aboyt wherever your from/ he is from india( other india but who cares) A ENGLISH PERSON MIGHT SING A SONG ABOUT AMERICA BUT IS THAT RASIST? the song is about an indian singing about being indian they wouldnt put a rasist song in a musical would they O.M.G. do you sing about whetre your from or is it too \\\\rasist////// soz to mean but its true this aint rasist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • plz dont say its racist becouse i have to sing this solo for a panto and i dont wanna sing this if its racist

  • its not that racist

  • Ironically, Cliff Richard really is an Indian... well, 1/4 Indian... but the other kind of Indian (i.e. the ones in Asia).

  • Regardless of the insensitive treatment of Indians - those male dancers at the beginning of the scene are wearing some incredibly risque' outfits for televison is 1968! lol!
