Clearly the lad who said it was a non turbo is an actual clown shoe,160 bhp in a gti makes for good power to weight (i had an mi on bodies a few years back) and a non turbo scooby couldn't pull the skin off custard.

205s are well under rated,my mates one "kept up" with my redtop mk3 astra gsi.In the bends he would dissapear due to the awesome handling and the astras ability to make the smallest corner a dramabut on the straights it was close.check out my vid for evidence of this,camera car is mi16

I used to have a citroen zx volcano with an mi16 on weber alpha throttle bodies and emerald management (does emerald even still exist?)the only thing that ever got away from it was a serious money spent 4x4 sapphire cosworth.stuck on his bumpers for about 10 or 12 miles then he got away on a dual carriageway.that zx was light and had some serious power.wish I still had it.have amongst other things a 270 brake jcw mini and the zx would eat it with about 60 horses less.a lot of the comments are r

I have driven a 205 GTi with an mi16 with race cams in , 4-2-1 manifold and throttle bodies, I killed a mmk6 golf gti ( 240bhp) ish, trust me they fly. I saw the other side of 140mph really quickly

@Awoldev Think 205 mi16 875kg vs subaru with 1295kg thats not hilarious, thats just inevitable that the 205 would win! With the sub having 175bhp per ton assuming its a uk 215bhp, its gonna be slower than the 205's which has 183bhp per ton! Not a big difference but as you can see in the vid its not a big difference, the 205 has just got the edge!

it's hard to tell what impreza it was.at the very best it would of been a uk impreza which is 215bhp standard but it may have been the 2.0 sport.that road looks like the bit from tullibody towards stirling.

what people dont understand is that its a 205.... and stock bhp of a mi16 is 160 bhp and ff, so for a impreza with 4x4 and over 200bhp not to shake a 205 is hilarious! Mi16 FTW!

i've got an 200bhp mi16 and it use to do scooby's when it was 160bhp standard how many people in scooby's have i made look like twats coz they are so sure there can beat me whats funny is i have a 430bhp 1994 wrx sti and still love to drive the mi16 everyday
