What you are seeing is a legitimate short demonstration of me playing the Legend of Zelda ゼルダの伝説 (Zelda no Densetsu Famicom Disk System version) prototype.

Clearly, heavy differences from the final build of Zelda no Densetsu exist, as we see in this demonstration. Changes include new music, incomplete dungeon layouts, and several sprite differences, as well as map glitches being noticeably prevalent in the dungeon.

What is not shown is the incomplete Second Quest, different enemies, and other variations between the public release; these differences will be shown in the next video of me playing the prototype.

Modern gaming is officially garbage.

Note: I did not dump the prototype, nor have had any involvement in doing so whatsoever; the people at the lost levels take full credit. I'm just here to showcase the prototype.

Strangely, there are three lonely miserable cunts who do not in question like the Zelda prototype.

  • I love retro gaming! F--k the modern gaming! Call of Duty 4 making me tired playing so I don't want to play stupid FPS shooting game. I love NES that I grew up playing on the NES console. NES is best Nintendo console ever in my life!

  • @vikingscool I just played Call of Duty Black Ops two nights ago with one of my brothers, and it was fun, so I'll probably playing some more modern games.

  • @nensondubois wait and see. I will try to play FPS with my friend, because I don't have a PS3 due to costly expensive to me. I hope this good. Oh, what about Goldeneye 007 for the Wii? I hope this is good FPS shooter. But I sure N64 version is better for Goldeneye 007-- this FPS game is my favorite game ever on the N64! Good times.

  • @vikingscool I don't even own a PS3, nor a XBOX 360, but if I did own the latter, all of the Call of Duty, and Fable games would probably be the only games that I'd surrender my time to on the console.

All I can tell you is Goldenye 007 for the N64 still has yet to be bested by any other First-Person-Shooter and likely won't. For the Wii, Goldneye 007 could have been, if it was, an excellent reiteration of the N64 "classic" that we all loved.

  • Hello, I'm a retro gamer too. I loved so much 'TLOZ - Hyrule Fantasy' for the FDS. In fact, It's my 2nd favorite Zelda game of all time, only behind of 'TLOZ - Dream Island' (Link's Awakening) for GB. I like 3D games of course, but, it's uncomparable the quality of the Sound FX, Music, Plot and Gameplay that those games gave in their time (Dream Island, above all). I think my 3rd favorite Zelda is 'Ocarina of Time' 'cause it's awesome too. Thanks. Greetings from Mexico. Sorry my bad english

  • 5:42 -- Nice game over music. It's more critical thinking than elegaic. "To continue or not to continue?" Lol. Well, it's mostly scary. Good thing they changed that. The way how Link dies in Legend of Zelda 2 freaked me out as a child. This wouldn't have been any better. Lol.

  • where do you find that??

  • @poopskinTheLiar I enjoyed new game like Epic Mickey and Donkey Kong Returns.

  • @nensondubois Wow, those are harder to produce carts than my thoughts. After that, I has been learned about reproductions in few years ago so I said, "I wish should I already STILL have NES console. I regret not own NES anymore! [facepalm]"

  • @vikingscool I'm sorry for having a off-topic about Goldeneye 007 for the Wii is not good for me because I'm deaf caused that in-game conversation are not subtitled, unfortunately. I glad N64 does provide for the deaf and hard-of-hearing friendly. I will stick with N64 version instead Wii version.

  • @vikingscool Old games, new games...they're all good as long as i'm having fun in the end!

On the subject of this prototype, it can be gleaned from basic logic that this is from fairly late in development - most functionality seems to be there...

  • Where do you go to find this?
