@gethsoftware You know absolutely NOTHING about History. IF christianity was the reason the (Western) Roman Empire fell, then explain to me why the Eastern Empire lasted more than a millenia?

The west was stricken with budget problems (due to plauges, and other reasons) the East never had to deal with (which led to military problems), the Western Empire fell apart when its Military could not hold together a phantom empire against Barbarian invaders.

The myth of equality started in the late 18th century. The failed French Revolution promised "Liberté, égalité, fraternité". It disintegrated into the Reign of Terror. France still shows its damage. In France it is a criminal offense to deny, even minimize the Jewish Holocaust. Identical legislation to criminalize certain speech pertaining to the Armenian genocide has just passed the lower house of Parliament. Today the French Senate is scheduled to debate and possibly vote on it.
