I spend nearly the whole afternoon to create an LFO for the synth. I build nearly everything from a 1 Waveform/1 Destination LFO to a real modulation monster that could literally modulate everything (It twisted even my CPU). Lots of audio overkills and divided by zero errors later I decided to do something easy to use and still effectful.
The interesting things in this LFO:
- modulate more than one destination at a time
- uses any combination of waveforms
- control amount value for each destination and an overall amount control (that was a result as I search for a solution to combine but not to add the waveforms)
Further infos to the constants I chose:
(-84) at Rate: Because the incoming pitch from the Rate controller is way to high for a *Low* Frequency Oscillator I lowered it by 7 octaves which gives a pretty good speed I think. You could also try other constants.
(12) at the OSC:
I took 12 to have the possibility to modulate the pitch over one octave.
(32) at Filter:
Don't know, I tried a little bit and it sounded good to me. :)

The tutorial isn't complete. Where should I connect the LFO?

cmd-D hmm must not work while its in a host. You didn't show where to connect the lfo in the instrument page.
