"1995" by kewlers and mfx - PC demo that placed 3rd in the demo compo at Assembly 2006 and apparently the last demo ever to be released by the kewlers crew. As I wasn't happy with the quality of the other videos out there (at the time) I decided to try digitizing my own version, see http://tcnnet.com/blog/?p=24 for more information. Yep, a) I need a new GFX card AND better capture gear, and b) Youtube made it a lot worse when it recompressed the video. At least the audio is OK. The point is: Here's a sample, get the actual demo! ;)

Actually, the demo won't run in that resolution. I did manage to run it in 1366x768 (720p) though and have uploaded a new HD version of the video to YouTube. (Check the annotation in the video or the sidebar for the link.)

Kind of sad that Kewlers disbanded, although, afaik, all members are still active sceners. :)

This demo actually brought a tear to my eye at Assembly '06. First time I've actually been emotionally shaken by a demo... and I don't know if it's nostalgia or the quality of the prod.

Indeed the only demo that had a nostalgic emotional element to it tho I was just shy of the actual tear. but close. I thank Kewlers for making this exist!!! awesome.
